Very Old News

Due to a recent security upgrade on the server, passwords for anyone signed up to the site have been reset. We're going to take this opportunity to replace the forum and chat room with something a bit more sophisticated and hopefully a lot more useful. This will coincide with a few more subtle changes to the site - please stay tuned over the coming weeks as the improvements unfold!

Our director Hazel has come to the end of her year with us, and has now been called on to a youth worker's position at City Church in Aberdeen. We thank her very much for her time with us and the work she has done over the past twelve months. We'll shortly be announcing what happens next; God has been and continues to do exciting work through us and we can't wait for the next phase of our work to begin!

Further changes have been occurring withing NESYFC...
Upon stepping down as director, Hazel has moved onto our Council of Reference.
Charles Gordon, a long serving member of our CoR, has stepped down due to other personal commitments and we cannot thank him enough for the contribution he has made to God's work with us.
Cat Lawson has become the new chairperson of our executive committee and Sandy Brownlee has taken on the role of depute chairperson allowing Alasdair Brownlee to concentrate on his roles coordinating Rock Solid and Fundraising.

Youth Alpha are bringing their first conference to Scotland! If you run youth Alpha or are thinking about it, or simply want to know what it’s all about … you need to be at the conference!

Singer songwriter Cathy Burton will be playing at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen on Thursday 24th November, doors open 8pm.Tickets £7 or £5 concessions. The Box Office is open between Monday 11am and 6pm, Tuesday - Saturday 10am and 6pm and from Sundays 12pm - 4pm (credit cards accepted)
