Prayer Letter - March 2009

Below is a letter from our prayer coordinator Aly Brown...

Hi everyone!

As I sit here typing my first ‘prayer email’ on behalf of NESYFC, I’m aware of the fact that I’ve met very few of you and yet I’m struck by the amount of people who are interested in what we do and are passionate about praying for us and the young people we come into contact with!

I am really excited about my new role in NESYFC and seeing how God answers the prayers of His people and I’m privileged to be a part of this ministry.

There are two requests that I have this month which I feel are integral to NESYFC and I would appreciate if you could consider prayerfully if you could and would like to be involved.

*Breathe and other NESYFC events.* While the team are busy and running events, I would like to organise a group of people who would commit to praying for a period of time during the preparation and the event itself. I’m not anticipating that you come along to the event, or indeed commit to the entire time, but rather that you would commit to pray for 10-15 minutes at some point during the course of the day/evening for those involved and the young people who attend.

*NESYFC Exec. *Would you be interested in being a ‘prayer buddy’ for a member of our Exec? I am looking for people who would be interested in committing to pray for a specific member of the Exec. We are seeking God’s direction and guidance for the future and know that He is asking us to step out in some new directions and develop the work that we already do in the area. We all have different roles and responsibilities within the team but the same vision – to see young people reached and lives changed.

If you would be interested in either of the above, please can you contact me (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) so that I can get each organised.

I am excited, as I know the whole team are, of seeing where God is going to take us and being part of the work that He has in store. Prayer is just the beginning... and the middle.... and the end.... let’s not forget to give thanks for what He has already done, but also look forward to the next chapter.

In Him
