Nomad Update

British YFC sports mission team Nomad spent a week with us working in Middlefield, Northfield and Mastrick in Aberdeen. They had a great - through wet - first couple of days in Allan Douglas park and Mastrick with a good response from the young people there. In Northfield Academy the team were taking part in classes and being around during lunch break where they got a lot of attention and had some good conversations with young people.

There was a good crowd at Smithfield School on Wednesday night, and on Thursday night the team were able to join the YMCA street football whichgave great opportunities to mix with the young people. Finally on Friday night they returned to Allan Douglas park and this was awesome - the young people there were eager to find out when the team would be back and the conversations about faith were mind-blowing. Please pray for the young people that the team worked with this week (something like 250 of them), local churches and NESYFC as we seek to build on this and finally for they Nomad team as they continue their tour around the UK.
