There will be a 24-hour continuous session of prayer at the Mission Church, St Machar Drive (near Aberdeen University) from 12 noon on 30 September through the night to 12 noon on 1 October, 2016.

There will be several prayer stations, with prayer over all that is going on in the ‘St Machar catchment area’ through the local churches and organisations (Aberdeen University Christian Union, North East Scotland Youth For Christ, Scripture Union, SAMS, School Pastors, etc.…), including the areas of the University, Old Aberdeen, Tillydrone, Woodside, Seaton and Powis. This special time will be open to the Spirit’s leading on whatever is on your heart at the time.

If you are able to come, please book a slot by following this link:

You can make your slot/s exclusive or open. Each slot must be filled by at least one person. The building will stay open, since there will always be someone in the building.

There will be an open prayer meeting at 11am on Saturday 1st October to close the 24 hours together. You are all welcome to that.

Please be there if you can!

We're having a fellowship meal at 7:30pm on Wed 10 December, at the Newmachar Hotel, Oldmeldrum Road, Newmachar. As part of this we'll give thanks for all the God's done in 2014 and hold our AGM. Please use our "Contact" page to let us know if you'd like to come - all welcome!

YFC will be working alongside Newmachar Parish Church for a week of mission between Tuesday 12th and Friday 15th August.

In the mornings the church will be running a Holiday Bible Club. In the evenings, we will be there with the Football Cage and 24-7 prayer will have setup a prayer room inside. There will also be mini-events, with a longer final one on the Friday!

This is a great opportunity to share the gospel in a community right on our door step! We are looking for willing and excited helpers to help out!

The evening event will be between 6pm and 8pm. It would help even if you can only make one evening of the 4. Please do get in touch with This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you want to know more!
