An update from our youth project in Aberdeen...
Middlefield and Northfield Parish Churches have come together with Youth For Christ to start a Girls' Club for girls aged 12-18. it will meet at the Henry Rae Centre [junction of Manor Ave and Provost Rust Ave] and we plan to meet 3 times before Christmas, starting on Tuesday 1st December. Then we'll restart on 12th January unless Laura (YFC year out volunteer) is away. There will be at least one person from the churches present along with Laura, and the community centre has allocated a committee member to be on the premises to see that everything goes smoothly. The club will be from 7pm-8.30pm. A chat, a chill, and a chance for girls to relax with their friends - girls only!
Please spread the word about the club in the Middlefield/Northfield area and pray that girls will hear about it and respond. Pray for the planning and for the leaders and especially for Laura who is overflowing with great ideas.
